1. General

These terms and conditions govern all services provided by Xtreme Renovations Pretoria ("we", "us", "our"). By requesting a quote, accepting a quote, or engaging our services, you ("the client", "you") agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Quotes & Pricing

• All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise.
• Quotes are estimates based on information provided (photos, measurements, site visit). Final price may vary due to unforeseen site conditions, material price changes, or client-requested changes.
• All prices exclude VAT unless explicitly stated as inclusive.
• A 30% deposit is required before work commences, with staged payments as agreed.

3. Payments

Payments are to be made via EFT or cash to the account details provided. Late payments may incur interest at the prime rate + 2%. We reserve the right to suspend work if payments are overdue.

4. Scope of Work & Variations

• Work will be carried out as per the agreed quote and any signed variation orders.
• Any changes requested by the client after work has started will be treated as variations and may incur additional costs and time extensions.
• We are not responsible for delays caused by client changes, late payments, or access issues.

5. Warranties & Guarantees

We provide a workmanship guarantee of 12 months on all installations and repairs (unless otherwise stated). Material warranties are provided by the manufacturers/suppliers. We are not liable for damage caused by misuse, normal wear and tear, or third-party interference.

6. Client Responsibilities

• Provide safe access to the site during working hours.
• Ensure the site is cleared of personal items where work is to be done.
• Notify us of any existing defects or hidden conditions before work begins.

7. Cancellation & Termination

If you cancel after we have commenced work or purchased materials, you remain liable for costs incurred plus a reasonable cancellation fee. We may terminate the contract for non-payment or breach of these terms.

8. Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the contract. We are not liable for consequential loss, indirect damages, or loss of profits. Force majeure events (e.g., strikes, natural disasters) excuse delays.

9. Privacy & Data

We comply with POPIA. Personal information is used only for providing services, quotes, and communication. We do not sell or share your data without consent.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Gauteng.
